The PDP’s National Working Committee (NWC) has rescheduled the primaries ahead of the general elections in 2023.
Mr Hakeem Amode, the party’s Lagos State Publicity Secretary, revealed this in a statement in Lagos.

According to him, the party’s primary elections for seats in the State Houses of Assembly and House of Representatives will now take place on May 22.
Meanwhile, the Senate primary will be held on May 23.
He urged party members and the general public to remember the new dates.

According to the Nigerian News Agency (NAN), the party had scheduled its House of Assembly primary for May 21, while the House of Representatives primary was set for May 22.
Meanwhile, the newly adjusted dates for the senate and governorship primaries, which were previously scheduled for May 23 and May 26, were not changed.
The presidential primary for the party has been set for May 28 and 29.
