Africa’s biggest tournament, Africa Cup of Nation AFCON 2021 is just around the corner, and we’ve got all the information you need to know.

The 202 1 AFCON tournament was postponed due to the Pandemic, this tournament is more anticipated than ever, and it is exciting to see the tournament return.

Algeria is the current champion, but many of the other countries have performed admirably in qualifying, so this trophy is very much up for grabs.

This tournament is known for generating a lot of excitement, so we’re hoping for another exciting AFCON.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will be going to the tournament without Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Watford’s Dennis Emmanuel.

The AFCON 2021 tournament will take place on Sunday, January 9th, 2021, and will conclude on Sunday, February 6th, 2022.

Because many Premier League teams have a significant number of African players, there will have to be a lot of rotation during the tournament.

Knockout schedule For AFCON 2021

The Round of 16 fixtures will take place between January 23-26.

The Quarter-final clashes will then take place three days later from January 29-30.

How to Watch Africa Cup of Nations 2021/ 2022

AFCON 2021 : TV channel and live stream

Sky Sports is the main broadcaster for the Africa Cup of Nations in the UK, having agreed on a deal to show all 52 games live.

The BBC have also negotiated to show 10 games as part of their coverage that includes two quarter-finals, both semi-finals, and the final.

In Nigeria, matches will be shown on Startimes, DSTV and GoTV.

Although it has not been confirmed, the tournament will most likely be broadcast on Eurosport in the United Kingdom.

Sky Sports has announced that all 52 AFCON 2021 games will be broadcast.
