At least eight countries have qualified for the round of 16 of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
On Tuesday, Senegal, Guinea, Morocco, and Gabon became the latest countries to qualify for the AFCON last-16 in 2021.
Senegal finished first in Group B with five points after a 0-0 draw with Malawi, while Guinea finished second with four points after losing 2-1 to Zimbabwe.
Morocco took first place in Group C with seven points, followed by Gabon in second place with five points.
Cameroon, Morocco, Nigeria, and Burkina Faso are the other four countries that have qualified for the AFCON round of 16.
After victories over Burkina Faso and Ethiopia, Cameroon became the first country to qualify for the AFCON round of 16.
After two victories over Ghana and Comoros, Morocco became the second country to qualify for the last-16.
Nigeria, on the other hand, qualified for the AFCON last-16 after defeating Sudan 3-1 over the weekend.
Last week Tuesday, the Super Eagles defeated Egypt 1-0.
