Abducted Wife Of NULGE Chairman Gives Birth In Captivity

Ejes Gist Newspaper reports that, the wife of the chairman of the NULGE, Zamfara State chapter, who was kidnapped in the Damba neighbourhood of Gusau, the state capital, gave birth at the bandits’ camp.

When Ramatu Yunusa was abducted, she was nine months pregnant.

Mr. Yunusa, her husband, claimed she gave birth to their child at the bandits’ camp at around three in the morning on June 29, 2022.

He claimed that even seeing his wife or the child was not permitted.

He said: “As I speak to you now, I am unsure of the gender of the newborn child; all I know is that my wife has given birth to the child.”

In the wee hours of June 28, 2022, Ramatu Yunusa, a nurse employed by the Federal Medical Center in Gusau, was abducted from her Damba home.
