After an attack by suspected Fulani herdsmen in Igama, Edumoga Ehaje, Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State, at least 30 people are confirmed to be dead.
The attackers razed almost all of the buildings in the Igama Community, according to the Nation.
Neighboring villagers in Ogege are fleeing their homes for fear of attack as of the time of filing this report.

In a Facebook post, Senator Abba Morro confirmed the attack on the two communities.
Senator for Zone C is from the Okpokwu local government area.

Kate Aneene, an SP with the Benue Police Department, did not pick up calls or respond to text messages about the incident.
