2023 Election: Former PDP National Chairman, Barnabas Germade Defects to APC
A former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Paty, , Senator Barnabas Germade, has again returned to the All Progressives Congress, .

Germade had defected from the to the Social Democratic Party, , shortly before the last general election but lost to the candidate and former governor of the state, Senator Gabriel Suswam.

Germade has now returned back to the on Saturday during a ceremony in his village, Gemade Village, Mbajov, Mbawar Council Ward of Konshisha Local Government Area of .
