2023 Election: Kwankwaso Speaks on stepping down for Tinubu

Rabiu Kwankwaso, the New Nigerian Peoples Party‘s (NNPP) presidential candidate, has rejected the idea of stepping down in favour of Bola Tinubu or any other candidate.

There was no mention of collapsing Kwankwaso’s campaign for another candidate, according to his spokesperson Ladipo Johnson.

Ladipo remarked on Channels Television Sunrise Daily on Wednesday amid rumours that the NNPP standard-bearer might abandon his bid for the 2023 presidency in favour of another contender.

“It’s too late for mergers, and at this time, there is no talk of combining Kwankwaso’s campaign or the NNPP campaign with the campaigns of any candidates or members of any party.
