2019: Akpabio warns PDP Governors to surrender their states sooner than February

Former Akwa Ibom State Governor, Godswill Akpabio, has suggested governors elected beneath the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), to surrender their states sooner than the 2019 elections.

Akpabio talked about this on Friday, whereas speaking on the flag-off of the All Progressives Congress (APC) advertising marketing campaign, for the 2019 regular election.

The Senator representing Akwa Ibom north west, talked about the forthcoming election was all about integrity and that President Muhammadu Buhari has what it takes to proceed in office.

“We thank the nationwide administration of our event for choosing Akwa-Ibom state to flag off the 2019 presidential advertising marketing campaign. Uyo is now the capital of APC inside the south-south. We are taking on from southern Nigeria.

“The 2019 election is all about integrity versus others. Mr. President has the integrity to proceed in office. He has completed many initiatives he met on ground, initiating new ones and that is the rationale we'll run the APC presidential election on this nation on the concept of effectivity.

“Other states, similar to the PDP states which have carried out nothing ought to surrender even sooner than the election. They ought to surrender sooner than February,” Akpabio talked about.
