2-year-old Child Run Over Twice by Car Survives

Police announced on Saturday that a child in Switzerland survived after being run over twice by a car.

On Friday evening, a driver was transferring his car to another parking spot in the town of Oberentfelden when he ran over a 2-year-old boy on a small balance bike.

When the boy’s mother screamed at the 53-year-old man, he turned the car upside down and rolled over him for a second time, police spokesman Adrian Bieri told DPA.

The boy suffered bone fractures, but, according to the spokesperson, he remained conscious and attentive after the crash.

A photo of the car revealed that only a small part of its ice windscreen had been cleared by the driver.

The driving licence of that man was revoked.
