Two more priests of the Catholic Church have been kidnapped by Islamic Terrorists in Kaduna State, Ejes Gist Newspaper reports.
According to reports, the two priests, Reverend Father John Cheitnum and Reverend Father Donatus Cleopas, were kidnapped on Friday night in the state’s Jere Local Government Area (LGA).

Less than two weeks prior to their abduction, Reverend Father Emmanuel Silas, another priest, was taken hostage by Islamic Bandits from the parish house of Saint Charles Catholic Church, Zamina in Kauru LGA.
Reverend Father Emmanuel Okolo, the Chancellor of the Kafanchan Catholic Diocese, commented about the kidnapping even though the security agencies have not yet confirmed the occurrence.

The two priests were on pastoral duty at the rectory of Christ The King Catholic Church, Yadin Garu, when they were abducted by bandits at around 5 p.m. on Friday, according to a statement from Okolo.

The Catholic chancellor encouraged the Catholic community in Kafanchan to uphold the law and pray for the safe and prompt return of the kidnapped priests.
